Career Overview
During a corporate career of over 25 years,
I held senior general management and financial positions in large corporations, SME’s and new start-ups, in multiple industries in 5 countries, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of 3 “Top 100 ASX listed” companies in Australia, and was CEO of two companies with sales of more than $250 and $65 Million respectively.
- As Managing Director of Australian Kitchen Industries (AKI), a company that I acquired funded by a private equity company, my team and I grew the business from annual sales of $12 million and a loss of $2 million, to sales of $65 million and profit of $5 million over a 6-year period.
- As General Manager responsible for all functions including marketing, sales, finance, HR, IT and operations, I recruited and coached high-quality sales teams that achieved exceptional results in 2 most recent companies.
- Over 28 years’ experience in product and process manufacturing industries in the UK, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, in roles from Cost Accountant to CEO., including systems specification and implementation, inventory mgt. and warehousing.
- For the 10 years to June 2022, I ran my own business coaching and consulting company working with Business Owners and CEOs to resolve their current problems & to sustainably grow their business by creating and regularly updating a One-Page Strategic Plan and implementing a Customised 2-3 Year “Business Growth Plan”.
- My extensive experience and achievements during my corporate career with over 25 years at “C” level in businesses of all sizes, has enabled me to offer Business Mentoring, Coaching and advisory services to ambitious Business owners & Senior executives in companies of all sizes.

Since April 2024 I have been a Business Advisor with “Mindshop”.
